Shona Sculpture

Shona Sculpture is a magnificent art form that ranges from abstract pieces to stylized birds and animals of all types to human figures. The sculpture is named after the Shona tribe which is the largest native tribe in Zimbabwe. Most of the sculptors used serpentine as their stone of choice for carving and sculpting.
